Ok. Technically correct. The top half is the eroded version. The bottom half is the techno line work. Regardless, it’s shown like that in the logo. The brown is more yellow on the amiibo. But you can look at the logo on the picture with the amiibo and see it. It’s in the logo.

Yes! I personally prefer opening them from the bottom so i can use them and also display them. Once you take out the small piece that blocks the NFC reader, you can insert the amiibo back into the box and display.
