I went looking for a TPMS reset button under the steering column. I found these two white "buttons" One was lit (with key on, motor off), the other was dark. I just bought a set of aftermarket wheels and had my Tires and factory tpms sensors put on the new wheels. 3 sensors are reading fine but my right front is blank like the sensor is dead. I’ve had the sensor tested and it’s working fine. My tire shop says I need to go to the dealership to have it reset.
If there is a problem with a sensor, he wont be able to complete the reset process. If the process does complete, then there is no issue with the sensors. Drive around at 35 PSI for a few days. See if the sensor comes back on. If it doesn't, inflate it back to 50 PSI and see if your TPMS warning comes back on.
