The dealership had it for 2 weeks - every test kia requested pointed to the connective rod bearing being the issue. So they requested more tests till they went ...At that time, a diagnostic trouble code (P1326 Knock Plausibility) specific to the knock sensor is recorded by the vehicle's computer. The vehicle will still run in what is called Limp Home Mode, but will accelerate slowly and have a reduced maximum speed. Engine RPM will be limited to around 2000 RPM max. A special diagnostic trouble code (P1326) will be recorded in the engine control unit, but limp mode means the vehicle speed will be reduced to 1,800 to 2,000 rpm. I checked the oil level and coolant level and both are good. It idles fine with no missing and shifts fine with no slipping. I pulled the code of P1326 and that is the only code that is being displayed. However I don't see the P1326 in the KIA specific list. Doing a general Google search shows several different possibilities for this code.
