There are few instances where furniture barricade comes in useful like when you are amassing a large horde of zom in the downstairs of a building and you want a few seconds of defense and noise alert when zom begin filling the upstairs. Or barricade the windows and leave the door unbarricaded, since zombies by default cannot open doors. A single zombie won't break an unbarricaded door. If two zombies attack the door then you somehow led them to it and no matter the strength of the barricade they'll eventually destroy it.A mod might be conflicting with it perhaps. #1. Also good to barricade windows as needed. Later you should build cut all the wood you need for walls first then build wall frames. Hopefully you will hit a high enough level be build T2 walls after all the cutting and frames.When you build a "window" you are only building a wall with a space for a window. You can take windows from houses using a crowbar and put them in that space, you can then board them up. However, make sure you put the barricades on the outside of the windows so zombies don't break the glass before the barricades. #10.With a barricade in your inventory, walk to a window and right-click on the opening.
