Dealer should do it under the warrantee. 2012 Ram 2500 6.7 Deleted, Raceme Tuner, Autometer Gauges, Turbo back straitpipe with stock muffler.Tilt the steering wheel to the full UP position. Look underneath the column, and you should see a hole underneath the shifter area. Poke a screwdriver (or similar tool) up into that hole, and you can push the override lever (inside the column) up, which will then allow you to move the shift lever out of Park.

Just a few days prior to this it shifted into park by itself as the rollers started pulling me thru the wash causing thee circuit breakers in the wash to blow. Release the shift lever, remove foot from brake, re-apply the brake and it still won't shift out of park. Each time it's happened I was finally able to get it to shift but this isn't my idea of a dependable vehicle.We backed it up to our yard. 5.7. The 8 speed transmission is fully electronic with no mechanical shifter attachment (just a park release cable). 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 had "shifter stuck in park" problem for a couple of years. After truck warmed up it would come out of park.
