I prefer trying different restaurants each day. Fuengirola and Benalmadena are only 15 minutes away by train. Trains run every 20 minutes during the day. Benalmadena is like three separate areas. There is the Marina area which is very popular with tourists. Fuengirola is nice when the sun shines, quieter than Benidorm. Entertainment in Fuengirola is very low key. Few places have a music licence and the police raid now and then. It's not too bad in an hotel, but even then much of the entertainment is below par. I like Fuengirola in the Summer, 3 euro on the train from the airport.
