Whitman is smaller than Kenyon College with just about 1,450 students but is more liberal and has strong programs in biology, economics, and environmental science. Lots of outdoor activities including white-water rafting, hiking, biking, etc.It is also more preppy, wealthy and athletic than the other two IMO. Kenyon has (by far) the smallest number of poor and middle-class kids; all three have comparable numbers of top 1% and top 10% families, but Amherst almost certainly has the most 0.1 and 0.01% types.
