The 43962DB was the standard .207" lift cam for the H. The 43962DC was .240" lift for the Super H. There was supposed to be a third cam 45956D with .270" lift, no idea what it would have fit. I had my .207 cam reground to the .240 spec.

Historically, the Farmall Model H was the overlooked little brother. As part of IHC's new generation of Farmall tractors in 1939, the H lived in the shadow of its big brother, the Model M.The M was the beefy big boy of the Farmall line. It stood out in the field of horsepower at the time because it was powerful and very attractive with streamlined styling. So strong was the M's presence that ...The Farmall 340, Farmall 504 and Farmall 544. I understand the the Farmall 340 was a new addition to the "Farmall Family", placed between the "Farmall C" sized 240 and "Farmall H" sized 460. The 504, I think, was the slightly larger replacement for the 340 in the "04" series. The 504 was virtually the same size as the original Farmall H. Yes the H for sure had a low low gear option, still had the 5 speeds , but a low first gear , not sure on the rest of the ratios. If the # tag is still on the tractor have a look at the suffix after the main s/n, may end in X6,X6A,X6B,X6C. Could also end in other low gear suffixes if it has any other options, eg kerosene, high altitude engine etc.The cub centers take a 1/2 carriage bolt. The A-140 takes 5/8 carriage for the weights. So if you put the A-140 weight on the cub you are using 1/2 bolts, which probably are ok, but the engineers at IH were more comfortable with 5/8. Because the hood is taller than on the H, the steering shaft comes out of the hood at a shallower angle than on the H. The H shaft comes out at a fairly steep angle.Engine and transmission are another story.
