You could probably trade off the LS1 for an iron 6.0L too, which would work better for the swap. The truck accessories, intake and exhaust manifolds are an easier swap into a truck. Don't forget you have a swapped motor in a 4x4, which are harder to find headers for. But a lot of people will stick with the factory LS manifolds as they actually flow pretty well, unless you are getting into cam swaps etc. But if staying fairly stock, it's probably not worth the hassle to do headers. The motors got a cam and ported heads.

Pretty sure the Trans crossmember should line up in the factory holes since the 700 and 60E have the same mount position. Factory 5.3 truck cooling hoses work with your 5.7 radiator. Maybe do away with the factory trans cooler in the radiator and run an external cooler.
