Start small. So I picked two stocks that I think will increase by year's end - JCP and APRN I've been selling the $2 JCP covered call for a couple of months now. And I've been selling the $1.50 ARPN too. If the stock "gets" called, I make money. If the stock does not get called, I make money. If the stock goes down, then I won't make money.
