Tbow is worse dps than BP/trident. The whole point is that you can just afk the boss. No. If you're using mage gear then tbow isn't worth taking at all. The BowFa is designed to kill high def mobs like bosses. It is very powerful though so still beats everything but BP at bloodveld content. This niche of being good against high def is a bit sus from a game design perspective as we witnessed with the recent fang debacle.

Comparing max mage with trident vs max range with bowfa, mage is about 2.5x the DPS of bowfa on red. It's an unbelievable difference. Bowfa camping is definitely still viable, but that's mostly because it doesn't use scales, while using BP/trident does.
