NinjaTrader for futures costs less per trade with $500 margin per /ES contract, $50 per /MES, that's daytrading margins -- if you want to carry something overnight, same margins as everybody else.tradovate is best if you daytrade. Benefit of having FCM doesn't really outweigh the commissions if you trade a lot. It can literally save you thousands of dollars in commission every month. I'd say tradovate for scalping, amp/tradestation for all others

Tradovate and ninjatrader do this differently. Tradovate, you can create an account and subscribe to market data for as little as $3 a month and have realtime data. ...
