Sep 22, 2011 · Hi guys, New member here looking for some info on my H&R Topper 158 30-30. I'm am trying to figure out what year it is and more specifically what the serial number is or where is it located? The only numbers I can find are the Patent number (AD U.S PAT. 2876576) and the caliber stamping on the barrel. I have attached images of it as well. Both shot less than 1 inch 5 shot groups at 100 yards. I would not sell my 30-30 H&R for $500.00, unless I could replace it for less than that. I have a H&R 158 20 Ga 2 3/4 inch chamber with original Walnut stock and NO forend screw. It uses a snap on/off latch like what you see on a side by side double shotgun.
