The Neglect achievement pops up once you return to his corpse there and hit his head with your nail. By the time you reach Zote webbed in Deepnest, he can't die anymore. Sadly if that's you're case, you'd have to do another playthrough to get another attempt at this achievement. No, zote can only die in greenpath if you don't rescue him.

Deepnest. That love-hate relationship with deepnest. I like it in the sense that it has its very own distinct characteristics. The whole theme surrounds dark spidery creepiness and it definitely does it job. But i hate it because as an area, so friggin huge and confusing.So, I found Zote in deepnest in some spiderwebs, and I want to free that grumpy bastard.
