The truck has a 392 in it, with a 4 speed automatic along with a 2 speed diff. The engine seems to run great. The engine doesn’t seem to use oil or smoke. However, all the IH small v-8s (SV) have cam bearing problems in their old age. So if you have it out for any reason put in cam bearings no matter what.
