Lennox used to restrict the c35 and cx35 to air conditioners only. I had seen some installed by others on a heat pump and they were fine. Lennox recently lifted this restriction which means there weren't many "splitting". A certain percentage of coils will fail and certain factors related to the installation will affect it.
