This is an old thread, but for anyone having this problem, here is what worked for me (choosing QB superstar). 1 - don't change any of the player customizations (name, looks, weight and height). 2 - get to screen where you are putting settings for the game. 3 - turn off player controlled art and injuries.The Franchise improvements are nice for depth but they are a bit broken. Especially Free Agency. You'll see guys like Justin Herbert, Justin Jefferson, etc in Free Agency. Also the gameplay improvement are nice.
