His ability to dish out insane amounts of damage and endlessly heal with the right gear. Makes him perfect for doing enough damage to solo the game and enough survivability to do so.

Reaper and Wreck are good damage bonuses. The nice thing about Maya is that she can make a lot of weapons work.

Level 50 go for 5tanks of foresight, split the next 5 across immolate and Helios cloudkill, all 5 ricochet, 5 reaper, choose where to take 4 more points down that tree to get ruin. Get ruin then. That should leave 19 skill points to put all the way into sweet release, then 5 in accelerate, 5 in suspension, converge, then inertia, work down ...

Look up Twisted Pimp 2.0 by Derchlands, it's one of the few Maya builds that can compete with BeeHawk without being super squishy due to the Bee's low capacity. If you don't like how the Pimpernel works you can use the Lyuda (which eats ammo) or just BeeHawk with that skillset or similar.

Everything Maya does is keyed off Phaselocking, and Quicken lets you do more of it. Reaper is Maya's most reliable damage booster. It's good for any build and is especially effective when combined with elemental DoTs. Sustenance is nice for health tanks (a Maya with a Vitality Relic and a health/Harmony boosting Mod).

Level 72 Maya raid boss build. So the title pretty much says it. I'm looking for a good raid boss build for maya at level 72. My main gear so far is a legendary cat class mod, a bee shield, a electric sandhawk (I also have a slag and corrosive one), grog nozzel, hellfire, and some different types of bone of the ancient relics.TL;DR: Tossing up between Maya and Zer0 for 2-3 man playthrough. Zer0 seems a bit more appealing but Maya would be better for a team run than a solo run. Need help deciding. Actually, the best bubble-popper was a shock Scorpio that put an incredible number of bullets on target much faster than the Sandhawk at medium to incredibly long distance.
