C-280 W202 AC not working. My AC doesn't work and summer is finally here. Took it to mechanic and he said the compressor won't kick in but doesn't know why. He's a close friend but others suggest I take it to the dealer. Really don't know what to do, don't want to hurt our friendship and so far he hasn't charged me anything for 4 hours work.
