Mine was starting to leak, and liquid was living in the valley of the engine. This is how I found out mine was leaking:My 2014 Rubicon Unlimited has been reading hot the past couple days. It's pretty consistently reading +/- 3/4 of max (dips a bit lower if I'm just coasting easy, spikes higher if I'm pushing hard up hill). Replaced the thermostat with a 203° thermo about 5 months ago.On hot days (temps in 90's plus), my Jeep would overheat while driving regardless of speed. Higher speeds didn't help cool it off. In older vehicles that had questionable cooling fans, you could just drive 50-60 and the airflow through radiator was enough to keep your engine happy. Not so in the JK. My jeep is currently running hot but only on the freeway. Around the town it runs fine. Fan clutch is good and thermostat is new. Started to overheat after a trip to an ORV park but I washed the radiator out and its pretty clean on the outside. Also drained and refilled the system completely.The difference was immediate and pronounced. On the trip home using the menu for digital coolant temp I was running 185 to 205f. My Wrangler never ran that cool. Also, my gas miles went up between 1.5 to 1.7mpg with the engine not running so hot. Test the O2 sensors, they can get old and slow to react. Typical O2 sensor service life is about 100,000-150,000 miles.
