The "R" in number indicates that they are resistor plugs, which are unsuitable for OMC ignition systems. The Champion "Q" series plugs have inductive, low resistance, suppression and are the ones you should be using. Screw the hose off the pump into the drain plug, then pump oil in until it starts to come out the vent hole. Put the vent plug in, then remove the hose and put the drain plug in.
