One card I often use that people don't seem to appreciate is Lammergeier. Lammergeier is a massive boon to Skull Storm runs because it can single-handedly take on a wave of grizzlies and win, requiring no support other than "stockpile a bunch of bones" and "stall phase 1 until you're out of cards so a Grizzly gets replaced with a Starvation".

Inscryption is a complete banger. You cannot skip this game if you enjoy card games even a little bit. Skull Storm wasn't too crazy overall but the grizzly bears were definitely a pain. The trick I used was to get undying or many lives onto a black goat before the first boss, as well as stockpile on expensive cards.
