It has slightly more felt recoil than the 30 due to lighter slide and thinner grip. I never noticed musch difference with the 36 slide on my 30 (same as 30s).

I find that the 21 has a little heavier trigger pull than the 30, which may be a characteristic of this gun only. However, I find them both about equally accurate. I do most of my dryfiring with the 21 because of the heavier trigger pull. The mag well would keep my fat/thick palms off the mag and allow it to fall. Keith. Then there is no point to a g30.
