The system has a one zone Taco switching relay and five Taco zone valves. BTW, the thing works great. So on a call for heat I would assume that the zone valve opens and the secondary circulator starts up directly. But this doesn't seem to be the case. The valve opens but the secondary circulator doesn't come on.What you want to do is follow the 2 wires coming off of the other end of it. Those are your "R" and "C" wires. If you follow where those wires go, one of them should end up going to the "R" terminal of your old thermostat. The other wire is your "C".
