Feb 16, 2011 · 2005 Ranger electrical issue. Tried to crank it and it turned over slowly but sounded like enough to crank, turned key to off and tried again heard a thunk sound and now no power. When i turn the key on i can hear the fuel pump but the headlights wont work or any of the lights on the dash. Have checked the battery, its good.
May 26, 2020 · Same thing only one injector. I tried the ecm off the unit that’s not starting and it started the running ranger just fine. I swapped crank position sensors same resaults. I tested continuity from the injector wires to the ecm plug and that’s good. I tested continuity on the 3 crank position sensor wires to ecm plug and they are all good.

I just fixed an XP yesterday that (2) dealerships and $1000 later couldnt fix.
