When I'm unsure, I start at the center and work in a widening circle to the outside. It wouldn't hurt to make two full passes to achieve your final torque. I wouldn't use silicone on the pan gasket, but that's just me. Some might recommend it.I disassemble a TH350C valve body. Problem is when Parked position, it is difficult moving out of Park and into Drive, or any other gear for that matter. The two brass fittings will have a NTP thread size. (national pipe thread size.)Yes, thats the vent tube hole. Looks like it is missing the plastic vent, or it is broken off and needs to be replaced. If the vent is blocked or plugged, when the transmission heats up and the fluid expands there will be nowhere for the pressure to vent and it will push fluid out of a seal or gasket. The trans needs to be able to breathe.
