I used the RCA codes, 0001 and it did work. But, strange, the volume control only works from within 4 or 5 feet of the TV. TIVO support told me that the remote receiver on the TCL tv is not very sensitive and so the tivo remote does not work well with this tv. Tivo support sent me a new remote, so will try that out.

The remote works great for a short while and then it seems to lock up with the yellow led constantly on. After removing the lithium batteries and replacing with alkalines the remote still refuses to work for quite awhile, sometimes until the next day. The lithiums I used were brand new and the battery level show 100%.
