Aug 12, 2019. Hi folks, So I'm a level 5 Cragheart (Ol' Dirty Cragger) standard build & would like to get item reccomendations from you guys. I spent all my gold on what I could affordgoing to save up for better equipment. I currently have items: iron helmet, heater shield, boots of striding, minor stamina potion,023,027,& 034.Cragheart is amazing at everything. Heals yes, but that's minor. He excels at ranges dps and true dmg. All classes are strong and can work good together. I strongly suggest that you read the story on each character and choose whichever class most appeals to you. All classes can be quite varied based on build but here's my very basic summary.The Cragheart is flexible enough to alternate between melee or range combat and can build for either or both. Rather than prescribe a specific build like the Scoundrel guide, I'll cover his core cards and ways … (Assume both consume earth to be the most efficient) With Rock Slide at level 4, you now have a set of cards that work amazingly well together, especially when considering that of the starting 6, the CH has the best ability to kill high shield, low HP enemies, if you go the range damage build route.

I played a cragheart to level 9 and it pretty much went how you've imagined. Started out ranged, then became heavily obstacle focused, and ended up being a melee character. Creating obstacles for true damage and then pushing enemys into one with heaving swing, while destroying another adjacent for +3 made for some pretty high DPS. The cragheart is one of the best all around starting classes. Can tank well, can dish out incredible damage, ignoring shield a lot of times, and can even build into a touch of a healer, but that type of build usually goes along with tanking via self heals. Later levels it can also be amazing at crowd control, and can essentially tank via aversion.

The top remains unused. The Cragheart is a damage dealer and any sort of stun or slow does not seem to fit well. A second thing to consider when looking at how the Cragheart is built, is to skip all the level 5 cards. Stone Pummel is more so for a mêlée focused build and there is a place for it, but not in my build.
