If you're saying it taste like a mix between sewage and copper or reclaim and sulfur, it is more than likely just a bad batch, probably wasn't concentrated long enough or too long. Seems like Gelati or Gelato has been having lots of bad batches, recently, if it's keeping you up at night after a week, you may have boof with melatonin in it.

I don’t think that’s why people use sulphur. In fact, it’s almost the opposite. People like to use sulphur because it’s organic and far less harsh than other fungicides such as Eagle 20. But people also associate organic with safe, and that’s clearly not always the case.

Some guy on here years ago winterized some burnt rubber wax and put a clean copper penny in there. It literally pulled all the Sulphur to the penny becaue of science. Can't find the post.
That usually does taste worse. And to clean a Quartz nail, don't try to scrape it with anything. Just heat it up a lot with a torch and you should be able to see the residue disappear when it gets red hot. Usually takes about 15-30 seconds of heating to get everything. When the copper scrubbers turned black, I would remove them and wash in citric acid, then rinse with water and dry in vacuum oven.
