This steering sensitivity is ridiculous. Even on higher end sims, like assetto corsa, where im driving with specific FFB maps for my wheel, the steering input of f1 cars isn’t this extreme in game. In FH5 im currently running stock FFB setting. My wheel is normally set to 900 degrees of rotation, but can be set to 720, 540 or 360.
I know my wheel is working fine, because I've tested it in other driving games and no problems. However in Fh5 the wheel is acting strange, especially the gas and brakes are liked inverted and always pressed. Racing with a Wheel is the Way to Go. Forza Horizon 5 is fun however you play, but a full wheel setup is the way to go. I'd say disable the assists and dial in a custom tune yourself. Try a FWD car and see if the same thing happens. Oversteer should be a car issue, not your steering wheel. It's pretty easy to fix with race sway bars and adjustable suspension.
What I do is: In Moza Pit House set Maximum Steering Angle to 900 degrees. In the Forza Horizon 5 set Steering Sensetivity to 0.0. The result: The phisical wheel rotates 900 degrees but, In the game it's only 180 degrees. E.g. I rotate phisical wheel 90 degrees to the right and in the game wheels are turned all the way to the right.
