Hello, as a non member I read quite a few posts in regards to the drag adjustment on the old Johnson reels. My dad has the 100b model and we tried adjusting the drag to #4 and lifting up the plate and tightening down like mentioned in some previous posts but it unfortunately did not work. It worked on his 90's model Johnson but not the old he has.
