Hi guys, I cant seem to find where the location of the Purge Solenoid valve is on a 2011 Sorento 2.5L 4 Cyl. I have a P0455 code and already replaced the gas cap, code came back few hours later after reset so I would like to replace the purge solenoid as a process of elimination. I have attached a picture of how the part looks like. Thank You. 1.

I though the canister vent valve probaly had been in malfunction ... The MIL will stay off for a week or two. When it comes on, I just erase it again. The same thing can be accomplished by disconnecting the battery. Of course, you may have to reset your clocks, radio presets etc. Some day I'll take my van in and have the smoke test done. I took it back to the dealer when it was still under warranty and they reset this.
