Nov 4, 2023 · XC40 Recharge faults. Just wondering if anyone else has had these faults on their XC40R. 1. Car stops without warning, multiple warning lights come on. Car is immobilised and "frozen". Unable to be turned off. Unable to be taken out of Park. Unable to be put into tow mode. Literally frozen. While we ordered it with the 14-50 plug (you can also order with the 6-50 plug, but 14-50 is the newer style and used within RV industry) but plan to hardwire the unit at home. Since then, others have reported that none of the adapters worked, until recently, when a poster on another thread mentioned one that did work.
